Here are a few photos of our trip in progress, with a bit of
explanation:

A view of Leo & Glends'a place in Alabama. We enjoyed two
days of fun with them. It was a very, very
nice visit. If you are lucky enough to get an invitation to
visit them, don't pass it up!
A few miles from the house is a place they call "Little Jerusalem", a
life's work for a local monk. It is a very
detailed and massive outdoor miniature reconstruction of many of
the famous places in the Bible and other
religious sites.
Heading to Arizona across Texas, we stumbled on an interesting
astronomical site. Off highway 10 in west
Texas is the second largest known meteor impact crater in the United
States. It is near the Texas town of
Odessa. We stopped and took a few photos before heading back to
the freeway.

Shallow crater, but large diameter... The trail goes right through the
center of the crater, and takes about
15 minutes to navigate it.
The front of our rental condo in Green Valley. It's almost like
arriving on another planet.
Gorgeous! Ya gotta love it!!
