Welcome back to the land of snow and ice!

It was sunny in Jackson when we arrived, and the driveway was clean thanks to
the neighbor lad who did a fantastic job while we were away.

After all, this will be only a memory in a couple of months.  All in all, we are glad to be back home, but
"Wait'll next year!!!"

=======================================

The following five pictures are from my 35mm camera which we took out to see if there is a huge
difference.  You make the call...  They were taken on the day we left.  We stopped at the
Petrified Forest National Park in northeast Arizona  and the scenery was so beautiful, we
decided to get out the "GOOD" camera and make a comparison... here goes...

Great color,  incredibly imprerssive, and a "be sure to see" area of the country.

The larger piece of Petrified Wood in the center of the photo is weathering out of the hillside, and will
soon join the others at the bottom of the canyon.  There are large pieces everywhere you look down there.

These are just a sample of the wonders that are available by going across the country by land, instead
of flying every time.  You can and do miss a lot by air...

It's a whole 'nuther world out there, and it is beautiful!  Go and see it if you can...

This is as close as Aline would park the car to the edge. Right on the other side of the "barrier"
railing was a dropoff, and she was being careful.
