A ride to Patagonia, Arizona to look at some avian specimens... How about a Great Blue Herron?
Digital photo was hand held behind an 85mm telescope... not too shabby...
Later on, we spotted a Great Blue in a tree at some distance away. This shot was made by holding
the digital camera behind an 8 x 42 binocular eyepiece. I really need some better equipment, it would
be so much easier to get these kind of photos.
